Hello and welcome to my photography page! I am a nurse, wife, mother of three, and am fortunate to be able to call the beautiful, scenic, Central Coast of California my home.

The spark that ignited my passion for photography was the receipt of my first digital SLR camera (Nikon D90) - a gift from my husband in 2009.  I was thrilled and knew I’d enjoy it but didn’t understand at the time just how much!  In early January 2010 I took on a personal challenge called “Project 365” – one photo-a-day posted on Flickr. That was the beginning of a fun journey in learning and discovery.

Although photography demands no less than a lifetime of learning, what I learned right away was just how much I enjoy the challenge of capturing the beauty of the people, events, and places that I see with my eyes and feel with my heart.
